Through our efforts at the Peale I hope to inspire others to take a more active role in supporting their communities whether through direct involvement to free access food opportunities or donating to a food bank, there’s no one way to help and all that matters is that we’re intentional in our efforts. —Alexis Tyson, Curator

A Feast In The Desert is bringing together the work of four artists through their cultural connection to food, and an appreciation for the role it plays in their lives. This exhibit is sharing educational resources on food disparity in Baltimore, and is accepting canned food donations on behalf of 3 partners; The Baltimore Hunger Project, The Maryland Food Bank, and Outcast Food Network.
